West Seattle Art for Social Justice

Donation protected
West Seattle Art for Social Justice is a group of local educators and small business owners committed to racial equity and justice. Our goal is to provide a platform that elevates both BIPOC artists and  youth voices through community art. This specific creation of a Black Lives Matter mural will be permanently displayed in the California Alaska Junction. Several local BIPOC artists have committed to the project. Though many asked to donate their time, we believe artists should feel valued and supported by the West Seattle community and all funds raised will go directly to supplies and the artists themselves. This event is supported by and will take place alongside the West Seattle Farmers Market. Please visit our project link for updates at West Seattle Black Lives Mural Facebook page. We understand this is a short timeline to raise funds, however we know that our community and friends are up for the challenge. We are so grateful for the opportunity to share our story and hope that you will be a part of this journey with us.
