Wesley's Broken Leg Surgery
Donation protected
My daughter and I found this beautiful boy, Wesley, under our porch. He was dehydrated, hungry, cold and limping (and full of fleas).
A trip to our vet soon revealed the cause of the limp: a severe femoral fracture. It's fixable, but requires orthopedic surgery. If we can't raise funds for the surgery, option two is amputation. At only 8-weeks old, we want to give Wesley his best chance at a happy, playful life.
We will adopt him and give him a loving home regardless of his condition, but saving his leg is our hope. An orthopedic vet has kindly discounted the surgery to about $3,000, but it's still a lot.
If you are a cat lover, an animal lover, please give what you can so Wesley can be a carefree kitten again.
Thank you from our family,
Andrea Berry
Below is the xray of Wesley's leg. He has been surviving with this injury for who knows how long.
