The Wesley K. Clark Scholarship Fund for Kosovo

Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,

I have setup this campaign to raise scholarship funds for the Wesley K. Clark Endowed Scholarship Fund. Any donation you give will help us make an impact. Kosovo’s youth deserve our support, and I Thank You in advance for your contribution!

Wesley K. Clark Endowment Fund was established in June 2018 to provide financial aid to smart and driven RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) students. Since then, RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) and General Clark’s friends have been contributing to the fund, which has now reached € 56,202.17
“I don’t think you can do anything more to help a country than invest in its young people; that’s the greatest human potential resource that a country that can ever have,” said General Clark in Prishtina, in May 2018 at a fundraising event organized by RIT Kosovo. “I will contribute to this fund with a lot of pride and self-satisfaction,” he added.
The Wesley K. Clark Endowed Scholarship offers merit and need-based scholarships to a select number of RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) undergraduate students regardless of age, gender, religion, ethnicity or nationality.
General Wesley Kanne Clark, Sr. is a retired General of the United States Army. During his 34 years in the U.S. Army, Wesley Clark rose to the rank of Four-Star General and was named Director for Strategic Plans and Policy of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) is the only nonpublic, nonprofit higher education institution in Kosovo – where all classes are held entirely in English. It is also the only institution in Kosovo whose degrees are accredited and recognized worldwide thanks to the partnership with the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in New York. RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) students receive the same excellent American education and diplomas that students receive at RIT in Rochester, New York – at less than 20% of the cost. RIT Kosovo is supported by the U.S. Organization, “The American University in Kosovo Foundation Inc," registered in the County of New York, State of New York, as a tax-exempt entity under section 501(c)(3), public charity status 170(b)(1)(A)(vi), Employer Identification Number (EIN) 20- 0105596, of the Internal Revenue Code.

The purpose of American University in Kosovo Foundation, Inc. ("AUKF") is to advance the process of democratization in the Balkans by supporting American-based education in Kosovo. AUKF seeks to foster, among younger generations of Kosovars, American ideals of a free and open society based on the rule of law and respect for the civil and human rights of all citizens regardless of ethnicity or religion.
