Wes Miles's Eagle Scout Project

Hi, my name is Wes Miles, My Eagle Scout project is to build 12 Biomass Fuel Briquette Presses. The presses will be donated to the Yonso Project, a non-profit organization based in Ghana. My device uses local materials that you gather and compress into a briquette. The briquette can burn for about 30 minutes. This briquette is an important substitute for wood to help stop deforestation. Additionally, it can be traded or sold, helping the poorly developed economy in Ghana. These excess profits will fund the construction of a school since there is no school within 10 miles of Yonso.

The reason I have started this GoFundMe is because there has been a very recent change in sanctions of Ghana's customs imports. Due to this, the price of shipping has been heavily increased. I have already built these presses with the help of many others, any donations to assist in the shipping of the presses to the people of Yonso is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
