We’re On a Roll needs your help!!!
The two deli locations, better known as “George’s” and “Trang’s,” have been hit hard by the pandemic. As most of us are working remotely and still getting paid, George & Trang are not receiving paychecks of any kind and have been forced to live off their savings. Even as the area has gone back to “Green,” employees have not returned to the office and the parking lots are only 10% filled of what they once were. George went from 110 customers a day down to 10, and that’s after being closed for three months straight.
George has been in the Sentry Parkway West (VEVA) complex for over 25 years. You would be amazed by how many people walk in and say “just give me my usual” on a daily basis, and he somehow knows what everyone wants!!! In the last 5 years, George has taken on bigger space to allow for his customers to enjoy dine-in experience, expanded his menu, hired new employees and upgraded all his kitchen supplies. He then took over the deli in Building 16, which his wife Trang manages. Once the pandemic hit and all non-essential businesses were forced to close their offices, George had to close both locations and let all his employees go.
George and Trang have two children. Their daughter just passed her driver’s license test and their son is about to be a freshman in high school!
Will you consider helping out a fellow tenant and friend in need? If you are back to working in the office or are in the area, STOP BY! George is open in Building 17 only from 11-2 Monday-Thursday. He could use the business and the friendship! #SmallBusinessRelief
