Wendy Jacobs Battle

If you have ever spent even 5 minutes with this woman you have a small understanding of the brightness she brings to this world. Why Cancer strikes those with the greatest souls we will never know. Wendy Jacobs is a true gift to this world. She is a preschool teacher; who inspires and invests her every being into shaping these young lives. She beautifies the world with her Mary Kay mission. Wendy Jacobs is; a mother, a friend, a wife. She is the shoulder you long to cry on, on your darkest day and the light that shines through the darkest of cloudy days.  Why we will never know, but today is the day that Wendy needs us to be her light through the dark clouds. In 2016 Wendy was diagnosed with Breast cancer. Being the true fighter she is, she battled through, with nothing but a smile in the face of her demon. With her husband by her side, 2 surgeries, her faith and family; she won the battle. Unfortunately she has not yet won the war. Last month Wendy found a lump in her 2nd breast. While her husband drove her to the all too familiar appointment they told themselves they were just being cautious. Unfortunately the cancer had returned. Wendy is still shining, she will win this battle too. She is a survivor. But now its our turn to be the light; Wendy and Jack Jacobs have brought so much healing and light into this community. Its our turn to step up and help them with the exhaustion of funds cancer treatments demand.  Wendy and Jack are facing costs of surgery, chemo, radiation and general loss of income.  Wendy’s husband Jack has been a Mason; helping young sick children. Jack has invested in the juvenile detention system,  and countless other organizations. He now advocates for local victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.  These two have literally given their lives to bettering the community and world around them. If anyone deserves help through these dark days; this beautiful couple does.
