We Make the Road: Elevate our Youth

We Walk the Road: Hand in Hand with our Youth

The youth in our communities are suffering. They are up against situations and circumstances that are unlike anything we have experienced before.  All funds raised will be awarded to LaPlata Youth Services (LPYS) and The Piñon Project Family Resource Center to support youth/family programs, building improvements, general operations, and more.

We, Tiospaye LV6, are a powerful group of leaders from across the country who have come together in a collective mission to elevate the youth in our communities. By raising funds, creating a community event, and working hand in hand with non-profits in the communities of La Plata and Montezuma counties, we will leave the legacy of empowered, educated and responsible youth.

Our youth are in the thick of a suicide crisis, an opioid epidemic, a bullying crisis, a severe lack of housing and job opportunities, and very limited access to mental health services.

We have identified the gaps in our communities and have aligned with two non-profits that have the capacity and dedication to address the needs of our youth head-on.

By raising significant funds for La Plata Youth Services and The Pinon Project, we are giving youth access to critical mental health services, juvenile diversion services, mentorship programs, addiction recovery services, early childhood programming, parenting skills programming, as well as safe locations to land when families are in crisis.

Donations will be made to TioSpaye and all funds raised will be awarded to LPYS and The Piñon Project to fund building improvements, general operations, and youth/family programming.

We will be closing this campaign on November 29th and we are committed to meeting our goal of $40,000 by this date.

Please join us in this mission of awareness, elevation, and action.

Our Youth need us now more than ever.

"Every generation inherits a world it never made; and, as it does so, it automatically becomes the trustee of that world for those who come after. In due course, each generation makes its own accounting to its children."
