My name is Justin. I am a friend of Joel and Brandi's; I met them through our work in and around the Canadian telco & music business and it didn't take me long to realize they are two of the finest people I've ever met.

My name is Justin. I am a friend of Joel and Brandi's; I met them through our work in and around the Canadian telco & music business and it didn't take me long to realize they are two of the finest people I've ever met.
Now, our dear pal Joel is in a bit of a pickle -- he is bravely and stoically working on kicking the ass of pancreatic cancer and because we love him and Brandi and Viva we're joining in the fight. We're forming an all-volunteer force, a willing infantry doing whatever we can to help.
Because General Brandi has been getting many requests for orders as to where and how we can best contribute, she has indicated that one of the best ways is some straighforward financial support; Joel's treatments and care involve many different aspects of the medical continuum, some of which aren't covered by OHIP or private health plans.
IMPORTANT: ALL funds, minus PayPal and GoFundMe fees are going direct to General Brandi -- literally direct to her PayPal account -- so she can decide where they are best applied. There's no requirement that we reach a certain goal before the funds are made available, so the Urnoms will benefit from every single dollar we raise here.
Some examples of what the funds will be used for (according to Brandi):
+ Naturopathic doc appointments
+ 2-3x weekly naturopathic treatments including high-dose vitamin C by IV and turmeric by IV.
+ Nutritionist appointments "“ she's working closely with the ND to sort out the right meal plans for Joel based on his disease and his treatments. It will involve a low GI, low sugar diet, high on leafy green juicing.

+ Acupuncture
