<div>We are reaching out to share the story of Wellworn, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Bend, Oregon, that has taken a stand against clothing insecurity in Central Oregon. Founded by Nathan Adams, a compassionate junior at Summit High School, Wellworn embodies the spirit of community service and innovation, aiming to ensure that everyone in our community has access to the clothing they need to live with dignity and confidence.

<div><strong>Our Mission</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At Wellworn, we understand that clothing is not just about fashion – it's a basic need that impacts individuals' employment opportunities, self-esteem, and daily life. With over <strong>10,000 people</strong> living under the poverty line in Bend, the need for our services has never been more critical. Our mission is to source and distribute gently used clothing to those in need, making a tangible difference in their lives.

<div><strong>How We Make a Difference</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our process is simple yet impactful. We collect clothing donations from generous individuals and organizations, then sort, inspect, and clean these items to ensure they meet our quality standards. By packaging clothes with size labels, we make the distribution process efficient and dignified, allowing recipients to easily find what they need. This unique approach has not only streamlined our operations but also ensured that we serve our community with respect and inclusivity.

</div>
<div><strong>Our Funding Goal</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To continue and expand our vital work, we are seeking to raise <strong>$5,000</strong> through this GoFundMe campaign to cover operational costs. Your generous donations will now be allocated as follows:
</div>
<div>- Supplies: <strong>$1,500</strong> (30%) for purchasing necessary materials to prepare and package the clothing.
</div>
<div>- Operations:<strong> $3,500</strong> (70%) to cover the costs of organizing community events and maintaining our facilities.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>Why Support Us?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support goes beyond just funding. It's about building a community that looks after its most vulnerable, providing not just clothing but hope and opportunities for a better life. Wellworn is committed to financial transparency, operational efficiency, and making every dollar count towards our mission of addressing clothing insecurity.

If you want to donate clothes, you can donate clothes to Nikki's Nearly New, located on 1319 NW Union Street. Make sure to tell the staff that your donations are meant for Wellworn and not for consignment.
