Wellness for Flint

Unbeknownst to the residents, the water piped into the homes of Flint residents for the past two years has been contanminated. As a result there has been testing for lead poisoning and screening for other diseases and side effects. I found myself experiencing sadness, anger, concern and wondering what to do to help make a difference.
Of course God revealed a solution and I'm taking action! While there are a LOT of people providing clean water to the residents of Flint, I was moved to help heal and negate the negative side effects of this situation.
The human body is designed to heal itself if given the right environment and tools. There are specific supplements and natural herbs that can help cleanse the body of toxins and assist it in returning to optimal health. People just need to know what they are, how to use them, and given access to acquiring them.
I reached out to Katina Love a wellness educator in the Flint area to brainstorm. We kicked off this project with a radio show and decided to do an event to help Detox and support the healing of the community.
The event will be a Seminar for up to 200 guests on clearing body of toxins and restoring to health and wholeness after prolonged consumption of contaminated water or a toxic environment.
The distribution of 200 Wellness Starter Kits with supplements with information on where and how more can be obtained for continued healing.
The Purpose of the event is to:
* Reverse the effects previous ingestion of contaminated water
* Educate on the body’s ability to heal w/the right nutrients/tools
* Provide Wellness Starter Kits to attendees to take action and begin process of cleansing and restoration
We are in need of:
* Venue to host the seminar (200 guest target)
* Donations of items to go into the Wellness Starter Kits (details below)
* Team-members to join us in creating this project
* A non-profit organization with whom to partner
or contacts to organizations on the ground helping to spread the word and facilitate the
* Donations to help cover event costs such as travel, lodging, rental, printing, promotion, etc.

Kania Kennedy : I am a Life Coach, and Author with a focus on beauty and wellness. I'm originally from Detroit, MI and current live in Atlanta, GA. I am currently enrolled in the Unity Urban Ministerial School and committed to being of service to my community.
