Well Water for Village of Mpyupyu

I am currently on a mission trip with my church in Malawi, Africa. The ministry here involves the planting of churches in villages scattered through the rural countryside. In two of these villages, feeding centers have been put in place. These centers feed orphans of the village who literally do not eat unless they are fed by the center. Our church sponsors orphans in a village called, Mpyupyu. This village suffers unimaginable poverty. Unfortunately, as the church has grown, tragedy has struck tha village. The only water source in the area is owned by a Muslim Mosque. The Muslim group has now revoked Mpyupyu's permission to use their well because of their Christian growth. This has left many people without any access to water. The feeding center requires water to cook the food. The women of the village are having to walk for miles to collect water from any water source they can find. These water sources are unreliable and quickly becoming depleted. For just $7,000 the people of Mpyupyu can have a well right next to their feeding center/church in under a week. The starvation season begins in January before crops are ready for harvest. Without this well, I am afraid many men, women, and children will die. I have held the children of this village and seen them sing joyfully despite their circumstances. I have actually met/hugged the young boy whom I personally sponsor for his daily feedings. I feel that as a sponsor of an orphan in this village, I have a responsibility to find a way to get them the water they need. I desperately need your help.
