Stop Welford Windfarm.

We are a group of residents raising awareness and seeking support in fighting new proposals for a massive wind farm. The proposal for 11 giant turbines in the Hemploe Hills, between Welford, Stanford on Avon and South Kilworth will dominate the local skyline and overshadow our villages.

Our area is already dominated with 50 turbines and 400 acres of solar farms within an 8 mile radius.

These new turbines, standing at 200m are twice the height of Big Ben, and 60% taller than the existing turbines you can see.

We are requesting funds to build our campaign to raise awareness, and gather your support in saying enough is enough. We have done our part and another Windfarm will saturate the area, decimating 1764 acres of beautiful countryside. This is the wrong location for another windfarm.
