Weld Kismet And Get Gigi

Some of you will have seen my first Rover P6 Go fund me that was very successful and I am hugelly greatfull to evryone who shared ans donated it made it possibule for Kismet to get back on the road. I am now needing help again with Kismet and my new P6 Gigi but more on her later. I have resentlly found alot of rot on Kismet and I sadly have know money to get her welded at the moment and if I don't get the wleding done soon the car will sadly become a braker and that will be the end of my Rover P6 vidoes for a long time. Now this is where Gigi comes in as I relly want to do a How to restore a Rover P6 series using Gigi but Kismet has to be sorted before that can happen!!! Once Kismet is welded she can finally be used as a dally car and I can make more vidoes about her and then Gigi can be colected so we can start restoring her anyway, thats Kismet lets move onto Gigi....
Not long ago I bought another Rover P6 a 1971 2000TC that I have called Gigi. I found her on Ebay for £70 and I told my friend about the car as it's in Derby 317 miles away. He said he could and would keep the car for me, so I won it for £87 pounds. The plan was to go up several times over the summer holidays to rebuild her but sadly I found out today that Gigi can no longer be kept there. I am hoping to raise some money so that I can collect her and do a second Rover P6 restoration series. If I can't rasie the money I will have no choice but to sell her which would be a real shame as most buyers will probably break her and cut her up to patch other cars. She was sat in a garage in Kent for 25 years and the chap I bought her off bought her blind and spent alot of money on her geting her back and when they got her back the engine was locked solid. When they tried to work on the engine all the sparkplugs and bolts snaped and the internals were in a real mess so the engine was scrap. The chap who bought her kept her in his friends yard and he has some photos of her there plus a large folder of service history so again it would be such a shame if she was broken =(
If anyone is kind enough to donate your donation will be split in half (half to Gigi and half to Kismet) and you will be helping me keep thease cars on the road and help a new generation of P6 restorers keep thease cars on the road. It will also alow me to keep making Rover vidoes as that is my passion and I hope to make a living of it one day...........
