Welcome home Bagel

Hello!  My name is Bagel and I was turned in as a stray in Walton, GA.  I am an older guy (between 10-12) and am positive for heartworms.  I was sitting at the shelter with no one interested in adopting me.  Someone sent my new mom an e-mail saying that I was urgent (I was in danger of being put to sleep) and needed to be adopted ASAP.  My mom melted as soon as she saw my big, brown beagle eyes and the longest, beagliest ears she has ever seen.  Now, she needs some help to get me from Georgia to Kentucky and to pay for all my healthcare needs as older beagles can be quite expensive.  My mom talked to the vet who has already done an exam.  I already have some medical needs that will be treated here in Georgia.  I will be given a wellness check up, will be nuetered, have a senior blood panel and will be treated for an ear infection.  Once I get to Kentucky, I will need to be treated for HW and will also need to have all my teeth removed!  If you are able to donate, that would be absolutely wonderful!  My new mom wants to give me the best life possible, and of course, that costs money.  I will be forever grateful to you for getting me out of the shelter and into my loving new home!  I can't wait to meet all my siblings too!  I hear there are quite a few!  Thanks so much!

P.S. I am setting the goal at $2000 to cover all forseeable costs.  If costs are lower, I will use any extra to pay for his future medical care.
