<div>The Weight Stigma Conference is a not-for-profit event. The conference is funded by registration fees and a small number of sponsors whose support has made this event possible. In order to make the conference more accessible, we try to offer a small number of full and partial bursaries to people who might otherwise not be able to attend, but there is never enough funding to give a bursary to everyone who needs one.

<div>Since 2016, we have been crowdsourcing the conference Bursary Fund, and your generosity allowed us to provide seven bursaries to the 2016 WSC in Vancouver, six full and two partial bursaries to the 2017 WSC in Prague, 10 bursaries and two travel awards to the 2018 WSC in Leeds, ten full and one partial bursary to the 2019 WSC in London, ON and eight bursaries and three travel awards to the 2022 WSC in Berlin. We hope to repeat that success this year. We’d also like to get the fundraising rolling a little earlier this year, which will make planning much easier for the recipients.
