Hurricane Victims of the Caribbean

Donation protected
On September 18,1989 , my family lost everything in Hurricane Hugo. I had a gala wedding with 600 of my families friends and 6 months later I was displaced and alone and 4 months pregnant. We ended settling in Puerto Rico certainly against my will! My husband would scream in my face "we aren't going home". I had fantasies of raising my children with my friends children and watching them all go to St. Croix Country Day School . This would not be the case. Last week when Hurricane Irma came through God sent me to talk to the "refugees" (which I later learned should be callled survivors"). They didn't like the term refugee because they didn't want to be pitied. The stories from Tortola, Virgin Gorda, St. Thomas , Anguilla and St. Martin were horrific.  God told me to go and I told God "I have nothing to give" He said " I need your voice." . During this hurricane, I was sent with my mother and son to the Dominican Republic for safety. It was agonizing, very agonizing and the hardest thing I ever did. I couldn't have done it without a deep faith and trust in God. You see , I am not afraid anymore. Actually I am excited to get to work. I am excited to share my life and my testimony that God really does take us from "Ashes to Glory" . God has been truly caterpoling me into my destiny and the last sermon was about moving outside your comfort zone. I love giving and donating and love to give and donate to people I trust. My sister whispered in my ear early this morning, "Molly that's you". I have never been worried about material things but Hurricane Hugo stripped me of any concern. I stayed in bed one year burying my gifts and talents until I met God that showed me He had his hand in it all along. Now I love my Puerto Rican Family and my Cruzan Family but it has vastly expanded to the entire world. My goal is to serve and I hope that this courage continues to appear on a daily basis. Just before the Hurricane I attended a new church in my neighborhood.
When I moved to Puerto Rico , I felt like I was betraying St. Croix. When I attended this new church I felt like I was betraying my church.  My heart is truly in love with everyone but for now it will be the Caribbean islands that will receive these funds. I am seeking a partner administrator to help with updates and pictures. Please partner with me as we spread the love of our neighbors and more than that that I can share my testimony that God will lift you higher when you seek Him. In addition to money we have a center in the former Dry Cleaner of Laguna Gardens where you can leave all your donations of EVERYTHING! Pastor David Rusi of Pastor Iglesia Ciudad Refugio and his lovely Pastora are prepared to bring the love and hope of Jesus to the various countries and islands of the Caribbean.
The funds will be to help them with provisions and to get back on their feet.  What is needed now is HOPE and we are armed and prepared to bring it.
I spent a night asking for God's protection over my loved ones and everyone. Before we settle back into our lives please give what you can. Have a family bake sale, sell something on line. My sister is selling her art work. (Jennifer Paganelli) Others are selling whatever to make extra for others.
What gets me excited is how we are all in this together. We are determined to grab hands with you and become the human chain of service. I don't care if you give $5.00 give! We are her to serve those in need.
The funds will be used for necessities such as food , water, and clothing.  Remember flashlights and batteries will be needed throughout the Caribbean for along time.  Let's join our hearts for a better future!
