We adopted Wednesday, an adorable black cat, from the Cleveland APL around a month ago. She is so very sweet, curious, and loving. As first-time cat owners we were very quickly smitten with her and her charming personality, and her presence has significantly enriched our lives.
About two weeks after adopting Wednesday we started noticing she would sometimes fall when jumping and that she would occasionally stumble when running. What started as a joke about having “the world’s clumsiest cat” has quickly turned into a nightmare. Wednesday’s mobility issues are getting worse, she now has difficulty walking, running, and jumping, and we have no idea why.
We love Wednesday and we will do whatever we can to make sure she lives the best life possible. She is scheduled to undergo multiple tests to try to diagnose her mobility issues, and these tests come with significant vet bills, up to thousands of dollars. We did not anticipate these costs when adopting Wednesday from the APL.
We didn’t plan to get a cat with special needs, however now that she is in our lives there is absolutely no going back. She is a member of our family. Please help us afford to take care of this little nugget, any small donation helps and we will be eternally grateful.
