Wedding Honeymoon : Japanese Dreams

Donation protected
On December 15th 2017, two best friends took the next step in their lives and got married in Brooklyn New York. We had met a year and a half ago during a meeting that was only supposed to be work related. Shortly after meeting, we both knew that we had found our soulmate. Since that first meeting, we have been by each other’s side through the best of times and through the worst of times. We are each other’s best friend and have picked each other up whenever needed. Our lives have consisted of some of the most laughter either of us have experienced with another person. Along with almost the exact same interests in topics and views, we had one dream that was exactly the same. Both of us, since we were little kids had dreamed of visiting Japan, but never had a chance to go. As careers builded and time breezed by, having that dream of one day going to Japan slowly started to fade. When we were talking about getting married we had asked each other where we would like to go to for a honeymoon. At the same time we both said Japan. So it was settled, we knew where to go once we got married. After talking and planning out what we would love to see and do in Japan, finances started to present itself as an issue that could prevent a trip like this. We both decided to cancel having a larger wedding and focus on a small intimate ceremony. Instead of having a wedding registry, we chose to start this donation page. We know it is typical for newlyweds to receive items for their home, but in reality we already have our new home set up and don’t need any new additions. Using this donation page was something we thought could help us get to our goal of a wonderful trip to Japan. We only ask to donate what you feel comfortable with and there is no pressure if you don’t want to contribute. Amy and I want to thank anyone visiting this page and it means so much to us that we have so many loving and caring people in our lives.
