We Can Beat This Together

Dan & his wife, Jodi, have been married for 29 years & on the verge of becoming empty nesters when the unexpected happened. A softball sized mass was found in Dan's colon. The doctors were able to remove the mass & he spent over a week in the hospital, while recovering. The pathology detected cancerous cells in his surrounding lymph nodes. As a result, Dan was scheduled to start chemotherapy at the end of August.

Dan went in for an additional scan shortly before he was supposed to start chemotherapy. The doctors questioned a spot that was found on his liver, so a biopsy was taken. The pathology came back positive for cancer in his liver. Now facing stage 4 cancer. Dan began chemotherapy in hopes to shrink the spot & remove it with surgery.

Dan is one of the most selfless people that his family & friends have ever known. Constantly helping & looking out for others. He's a devout father, husband and son. The financial burden of testing, surgery, treatment, inability to work full time & stress that cancer can put on a person or family is tremendous.
