#WeAreAll18: A  Movement

Our Democracy is broken.  Youth have the Power to fix it.  We are here to help them claim that Power.

#WeAreAll18 MISSION STATEMENT:  transform our culture of civic apathy and community attrition to a culture of engagement, empowerment and community connection by giving Youth tools to participate fully in our democracy and in life through

Nonpartisan Voter Registration & Turnout

#WeAreAll18 seeks to inspire, empower and enroll youth to become involved, invested, engaged and actively participate in our democracy by registering to vote and voting in all elections, to catalyze their peers and the adults in their lives to do the same through creation of a digital and bricks and mortar grass roots Movement that gives teens a platform to use, share and connect their voices, via website, social media platforms, content, digital and physical community building and collaboration, all created and driven by teens speaking to teens, with support and supervision of adult mentors.  WeAreAll18 listens to teens and amplifies their voices to speak to everyone.

ISSUE:  Youth are the largest bloc of the U.S. Electorate.  They have the power to determine elections by their sheer numbers.  Yet they don't.  There is a huge “Registration Gap” among Youth voters.

In 2014, the last Midterm Election, 40% of eligible voters 18-24 were registered to vote;  only 12% actually voted.

Why aren’t young people voting?

There are so many reasons that they give.  In the end, the specific reasons matter less than a willingness to figure out how to transcend what gets in their way.  The more important question is, what WOULD motivate young people to vote? #We Are All 18 determined that the best way to answer that question and be successful in reducing the Youth Registration Gap, is to go to the source: Youth.

Different from other youth voter, civic education and engagement organizations, WeAreAll18 is non-partisan, issue neutral, outreach innovative and youth driven.

Youth are our designers, editors, content generators, artists and more.

There are no messages, agendas or issues to alienate or discourage participation; simply a platform for education, engagement and empowerment.

Spread digitally by teens via the social platforms they use and prefer, by website, email, app and by boots on the ground through the creation of school and teen affinity group based WeAreAll18 communities.

In development long before the 2016 election and Parkland, the time for the vision, message and Movement of WeAreAll18 has never been more HERE or NOW.

YOUR DONATIONS WILL HELP #WEAREALL18

Register Youth to vote and get them to the polls on election day with our tech partner TurboVote and our volunteers in communities around the country

Educate Youth about the importance of civic engagement on the issue that impact them in a way that resonates with them; (why do primaries matter, why should I care about state legislatures, why Youth should vote in EVERY election).

Build a communication and cultural digital ecosystem where Youth create customized content  and communicate with peers in the language, visuals and the platforms they prefer

Assemble the best in social impact technology and methodology to collect data about which messages resonate with target audiences and continually refine our outreach for maximum impact

Get out on the Road from Labor Day to Election Day visiting 8 battleground states in 8 weeks to register and mobilize voters, listen to teens and communities, create content, build connections, grow local chapters, inspire engagement, empower Youth and begin the work of de-polarizing our social, political, cultural discourse.
Anchors will plan community gatherings around local food, Schools of Rock musical events, and 18 branded technology, educational, SWAG and lifestyle pop-ups.

Help us restore the health of our democracy.

Just as every voice, every vote counts, every donation gets us closer to making this Movement happen.

We are neither red nor blue; we are purple.
