Wear something Festive for DFBF

It has been a difficult year for the charity sector in Ireland, none more so than for the Defence Forces Benevolent Fund(DFBF). The Defence Forces Gala concert was cancelled  and the Massed Bands will most likely be cancelled in 2021.Both these fundraising events provide much needed cash injection for the DFBF.

Although there has been a reduction in cash flow the DFBF still continue to provide a vital service to ex members of the DF supporting them through difficult economic times. It is the intention of 1 Bde to host a charity event throughout all 1 Bde Barrack Installations where personnel ‘Wear something Festive for Charity’ in aid of the DFBF.  All support from within 1 Bde and from outside 1 Bde would be greatly appreciated.
