We're running for Send A Smile, Ghana

Sam, Mat and I are doing a 5K run in September for Send A Smile :) As non-runners (one with asthma), your donations will really
help spur us on! We'll happily share pictures of the run and pictures to show exactly how your money helps in Ghana.

Send A Smile is my sister's organisation and they work really hard in Ghana, where they create libraries for schools that often don't have a single book. They also work with schools to enhance their provisions and delivery of the curriculum, through the donation
of resources, (these schools don't have a playground, often not enough chairs/tables, definitely no electricity..) teacher training,
volunteer teaching and taking children on trips.

*A big part of this fundraising is helping Mavis, a 22 year old in Ghana who has been desperate to go to university. She has tried
tirelessly to raise funds, by working lots of little jobs, from farming to selling but it's not easy.. A partner NGO have identified Mavis as someone who deserves this chance (and support), because she shows dedication and potential to succeed through university, so this can literally change her life. We nearly have enough, so don't think any donation is too small. It really does all help.

Other funds will help with the upcoming library projects. The costs are kept as small as possible, but funds are still needed (shelving/sometimes doors are needed/a splash of paint!) The more we raise, the more Send A Smile can do, the more smiles that are put on childrens' faces. ANY donations will be GRATEFULLY appreciated.
