We Support Simeon Gipson's Cycling Journey!

Osiyo nigada,
Mr. Simeon Gipson (Cherokee and Choctaw) is a 76-year-old amateur cyclist residing on the Cherokee Nation reservation. He got into cycling as a way to transform his health and wellness. At the beginning of his journey, he took several prescriptions to manage diabetes and related health issues. Today, his health is excellent, and he no longer needs diabetes or other drugs. He rides an average of 100 miles each day and is planning to make a round trip to Pittsburgh, PA for a cycling competition next spring. We want to show how proud we are of Mr. Gipson by helping make this trip safe and affordable. We are raising money to purchase a bike trailer to haul necessities, a 4-season backpacking tent, 3 new pairs of cycling shoes, 30 days of per diem for food/expenses, competition registration fees, and lights/safety gear for his bike.
Mr. Gipson has been featured in Men's Health and will soon be on OsiyoTV. He is also planning to share his story at the upcoming Symposium on the American Indian at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He has a powerful story to share, and we greatly appreciate any financial support you can offer.
