HELP US MOVE CROSS-COUNTRY

In May 2019 I flew from our home in Portland, Oregon to Washington DC for a week of ministry meetings. While I was there I began to have powerful and significant dreams that revealed assignments the Lord was bringing to us that focused on our nation and Washington D.C..  Immediately following this trip we began receiving prophetic words about a governmental mantel and authority that God is placing upon us. We also had the words, “Washington D.C. is in need of you.” spoken over us. 

Over the past nine months we have been “spiritually pregnant” with the call to the nation. During August our family spent another month in Washington D.C. and the surrounding area  to pray throughout the city and region. During this time our daughter and her husband Luke had it confirmed that they will be moving by 2020 to Fredericksburg, Virginia to be on staff with the national movement of Awaken the Dawn. Fredericksburg is just a short drive from Washington D.C. and this is the town where George Washington grew up and where his mother prayed for him and for our nation every day at “Monument Rock” throughput the years of the Revolutionary War.  Many say that our nation was birthed by a mother on her knees in Fredericksburg, Virginia. It is a spiritual governmental seat in America.

As we have sought the Lord, He has confirmed that this is a “crossover” time for the body of Christ where He is handing out new assignments, new positions and even new orders.  He has asked us to move across the nation to reside in Fredericksburg for our new assignment regarding the nation. We believe that both Fredericksburg and Washington D.C.  are the locations of our call beginning in 2020.

On January 5 we will set out from Portland, Oregon with everything we own to cross over the nation (3000 miles) to our new home and ministry base in Virginia. We plan to arrive on January 10, 2020. 

We have said “Yes” to the Lord regarding this  cross-over move; leaving home, family, friends and our beloved church where we’ve pastored the young adults. Though it is a difficult “yes”, we do it with joy for the sake of the Lord (He is worthy of it all!). 

Our “yes” and this move is happening completely by faith; not knowing what is ahead or even how He will provide...yet confident that He assuredly will make a way and “part the waters” so that we can cross over.  

This fundraiser is to provide for the actual move. Trucks, moving expenses, security deposits, gas, lodging, etc. We are so grateful for those who walk with us, pray for us, support our ministry and follow our journey.
