We Need Your Help with Fuchita's Recovery

Hello everyone, this is Martita Rodríguez, 76 years old, she is our dear Great Aunt. FUCHITA, as we all affectionately call her, lives in Guatemala, and she needs your help to survive.

 

She, like many other people in the world, suffers from the terrible virus of COVID-19. Currently, she fights day by day for her life due to her delicate health condition. Our dear Fuchita has been in the hospital since 28/12/2020; and since 4/01/2021, she has been in the emergency room (ICU), struggling to survive.

 

Her current state of health is very delicate. For her age, the complications that the virus has created in her body due to pre-existing conditions are devastating.

 

Her condition is critical; due to her poor oxygenation, it has been necessary to apply endotracheal intubation (mechanical ventilator).

 

Her system's high inflammation has generated an infection in her right lung and a renal failure of the left kidney.

 

The appearance of blood clots in her right leg has compromised blood circulation in her right foot.

 

FUCHITA continues to fight for her life, but we do not know how long she will have to stay in the hospital and the intensive care unit. Without health insurance coverage, health care costs continue to climb and pile up rapidly, so we turn to all of you and your financial support to help us cope with high medical costs. No matter how small, every donation is more than welcome, and we are sure that God will multiply it in blessings.

 

As a family, we have all our faith and hope in Our Lord Jesus Christ, knowing He will work a miracle for her so that she continues to fight and can move forward and overcome this terrible virus.

Hola a todos, esta es Martita Rodríguez de 76 años de edad, ella es nuestra querida Tía Abuela. FUCHITA, como todos la llamamos de cariño, vive en Guatemala y necesita de tu ayuda para sobrevivir.

 

Ella, como otras muchas personas en el mundo sufre por el terrible virus del COVID-19, actualmente ella lucha día a día por su vida debido a su delicada condición de salud. Nuestra querida Fuchita fue internada el 28/12/2020, y desde el 4/01/2021 ha permanecido en el cuarto de urgencias luchando por sobrevivir.

 

Su actual condición de salud es muy delicada debido a su edad y a las complicaciones que el virus ha creado en su cuerpo debido a las condiciones preexistentes.

 

Actualmente, su condición es bastante crítica, debido a su pobre oxigenación ha sido necesario aplicar una intubación endo-traquial, la elevada inflamación de su sistema ha generado una infección en su pulmón derecho, fallas renales del riñón izquierdo y la aparición de coágulos sanguíneos en su pierna derecha, que han comprometido la circulación de sangre en su pie derecho.

 

Fuchita sigue luchando por su vida, pero no sabemos cuánto tiempo más deberá seguir en el hospital y en la unidad de cuidados intensivos. Sin cobertura de seguro médico, los costos de atención médica siguen subiendo y acumulándose rápidamente, por lo cual recurrimos a todos ustedes y su apoyo económico para poder hacer frente a los elevados costos médicos. Toda donación, por pequeña que sea, es más que bien recibida y estamos seguros de que Dios se las multiplicará en bendiciones.

 

Como familia tenemos toda nuestra fe y esperanza en Nuestro Señor Jesucristo, sabiendo él obrará su milagro para que ella siga luchando y pueda salir adelante y vencer este terrible virus.

 

Que Dios los bendiga y abra sus corazones para apoyarnos económicamente dentro de sus capacidades y así poder salvar a nuestra querida y amada FUCHITA.
