<div>My brother used to dream of Olympic medals. Now it’s been hard to get out of bed.

<div>Roch has always been the loudest laugh in the room. A silver medalist. A jokester. The one who lit up every space he walked into.
</div>
<div>But the last several years, everything changed. He’s in constant pain, unable to eat solid food, and fight through crushing migraines every single day.
</div>
<div>What many people don’t know is that Roch has been battling chronic health issues for over 11 years. All this time he’s been pushing through, even when no one could figure out what was wrong.
</div>
<div>He kept showing up for others while quietly falling apart.
</div>
<div>It’s taken away strength, his energy, and the simple joys of life. He has lost weight, lost a lot of sleep, and his now barely able to function

<div>through the day.
</div>
<div>Watching him suffer while still trying to protect everyone else has been heartbreaking.

<div>We do have hope.
</div>
<div>There is a treatment plan that could give Roch a quality of life back. If successful, it could reduce his pain, allow him to eat again, improve his immune system function, and restore the vitality and joy that made him who he is.

<div>The total cost of the treatment and supportive care is $30,000. His new intake date is in January 2026.
</div>

<div>Mon frère rêvait autrefois de médailles olympiques. Aujourd’hui, il a de la difficulté à simplement se lever du lit. Roch a toujours été celui qui riait le plus fort dans la pièce. Médaillé d’argent. Farceur. Celui qui illuminait chaque endroit où il entrait. Mais ces dernières années, tout a changé. Il vit dans une douleur constante, ne peut plus manger d’aliments solides, et endure des migraines écrasantes chaque jour. Ce que peu de gens savent, c’est que Roch se bat contre des problèmes de santé chroniques depuis plus de 11 ans. Il a toujours continué à avancer, même quand personne ne comprenait ce qui n’allait pas. Il était là pour les autres, tout en s’effondrant en silence. Cela lui a volé sa force, son énergie et les plaisirs simples de la vie. Il a perdu du poids, dort très peu, et peine aujourd’hui à fonctionner au quotidien. Le voir souffrir tout en essayant de protéger les autres nous brise le cœur. Mais nous avons de l’espoir. Un plan de traitement pourrait lui redonner une qualité de vie. S’il réussit, ce traitement pourrait réduire sa douleur, lui permettre de remanger normalement, renforcer son système immunitaire et raviver l’énergie et la joie qui font de lui qui il est.
