We need to move quick and need help
UPDATE 2: Thank you all for helping us get halfway to our goal (I have that Bon Jovi song stuck in my head) - but as life would have it, someone smashed into my car yesterday, totaling it. Needless to say, this complicates things a bit for us. Now I'm looking for a new car AND a new place to live in a hurry.

UPDATE: After crunching more numbers and having all the information I need available to me, we need more than what we originally asked for (even though the two original goals were met so quickly and I cannot thank everybody enough) - If we can get anywhere close to $4000 we'll be able to get everything settled. In the meantime, I'm working on selling everything up to and including my car to get what we need. I'm so sorry to have to ask for more but we're out of options. Thank you so much.

Our current landlord has decided he wants to sell his properties, and we are on a month-to-month lease. It is my dad, brother and I, and we've been having a hard time recovering from my mom's passing last year and emergency costs of that, and my dad's health hasn't been great lately, so emergency medical bills and prescription costs have been piling up over the past year, plus the loss of my mother's income have also made things very tight and savings have been decimated, and the loss of my 2nd job has kept me from replenishing my savings. I try to put at least 15% of my paycheck away every time I get paid but it is inevitable to have to dip into it when a copay or a prescription is needed.
It is very hard for me to ask for help, but we need it. We are still short for the first month's rent and deposit on a new place and we need one quick. If we can just get past this hurdle, we should be fine, but we just need a little help. Anything helps. Thank you so much.
