Support the Collins Family

Lovely people, very dear friends of mine, the Collins need our help - please read and share widely.  Myself and my community are loosing friends who have become like family and they have a big need.  If you feel like you want to support - please keep reading.



Paul & Kristina have recently had their visas refused and were given less than 3 weeks to leave the country and return to the USA. As of now,  that time is just one week. While always a possibility, the visa denial was a  very sudden shock and the general consensus and legal opinion was that they met all the criteria for visas to be granted.

They have lived in the UK with their family Micah,  Emma and Hannah for almost 6 years.  Hannah, is married to a British citizen, Ben with who she has 3 children,  India, Boaz and Ezra. 
In returning to the USA, Paul  and Kristina are having to leave behind their daughter, son in law and young grandchildren, not too mention all their friends. They love the UK, it has become their home and their sudden departure is  a heartbreaking circumstance for the family and friends.  You can read more about why they originally moved to the UK on their website here .

Everything has happened very quickly and the Collins are facing mounting bills and money is needed urgently cover the following. We can't mend their hearts but we can help ease their financial burden. The goal of this fundraiser is to cover:

|| travel costs  to return to the USA

|| shipping costs for their belongings (they are selling as much as they can in the few weeks they have been given)

||  loss of income while in the UK (they were legally required to stop working immediately due to visa status)

||  the housing and living costs here in the UK before they leave. 

|| living costs in the USA.  Paul will be able to work when he returns to the USA , however Kristina will be a full time carer to their disabled son Micah.
