We love Mariah! Cancer Treatment Support Fund

Our dear friend, Mariah Cherem, has a recurrence of breast cancer. She needs your help.

In 2015, Mariah received her initial diagnosis of Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC), which is a rare and aggressive subtype. After enduring a turbulent year of intensive treatment, she bravely – and with the help of her mighty loved ones and med team – emerged cancer free. Her body remained in remission for just over seven years. In those seven years, she transformed her life and has just settled into a new adventure in Chicago – one of the many reasons this recent diagnosis is so devastating.

Un/fortunately, Mariah knows what she is up against, and we all know how much she will need your support. Standard of care for TNBC treatment typically costs $21,000 per month for the anti-cancer therapies, up to $26,000 for surgery, and hundreds of dollars beyond that for the PT, acupuncture, and external appointments required for sound and successful care. Thankfully, Mariah is insured, but coverage can be fickle, and out-of-pocket maximums are a farce. She needs your help.

She also needs assistance with travel, unpaid time off, meal support and whatever/all else. This recurrence will require even more aggressive treatment, including intrusive surgery.

But Mariah is a force. She’s got this. We all do.
