We LOVE Becki

Hello Family, Friends and Supporters,
On Sunday 7/16, Becki McKee was involved in a horrible cycling accident. She and her husband, Bob McKee were participating in the "Ride to Remember" benefiting the Alzheimers Association, which they both spent months raising money for. R2R is a 3 day ride from Greenville, SC to Charleston, SC (252 miles). On the last day of the ride, 2 miles away from the last check point before heading over the bridge, she crashed her bike along with 4 other cyclists. Becki took the hardest hit and sustained MAJOR injuries. Thankfully, the other cyclists only had minor injuries. Becki is currently in the ICU recovering from brain contusions (which required neuro surgery), a broken collar bone, 3 fractured ribs, a fractured pelvis and chipped hip. Becki's injuries are substantial and we are unfortunately not local to the area. I am Becki's step daughter (Bob's Daughter) and I created this page to help ease the financial burden that my dad and Becki will incur. (They would have never let me do this, so I decided to take action and put it out there without their permission because I know it would be hard for them to accept help.) Becki is looking at quite a lot of time in the ICU and 2+ weeks of Acute Rehab in a specialized facility. Insurance will cover a good amount of her medical bills, but it will not cover them all. I am turning to you to see if you can help support my wonderful Dad and incredible Step Mom in their time of need. We can't thank you enough for your love, prayers and continued support through this rough time. This is the BEST community of family and friends that anyone could ever ask for.
