Flow Tribe Instruments Stolen

Donation protected
During the past three months, the band has twice been robbed: on tour in San Francisco when our van windows were shattered in broad daylight, and again this week when our trailer door hardware was sawed through while parked next to our house in New Orleans. The items we’ve lost include a MacBook Pro computer, a pair of hard drives filled with music projects, a Nord Electro 3 keyboard and SKB flight case, LP bongos, a kick pedal, and a snare drum our drummer has had since he was 15. Unfortunately, insurance did not cover the replacement of the smashed windows, which added $1,700 to our loss, bringing the total value of everything stolen or damaged to more than $5000.

Needless to say, it has been a long summer for the Tribe. But the show must go on! We hope to replace our instruments asap, and we are working with the talent buyers for our shows in the coming months to arrange advance payments. However, we still have gaps to fill and debt to pay down related to these unexpected blows. As a band we have been blessed with great generosity and kindness from the wonderful people we’ve been fortunate to get to know over the years, and so we ask those of our supporters with the means to pitch in to help us in any way you can. These incidents will not stop us from delivering our music to the world nor will they undermine our resolve to continue to do what we do nearly 50 weeks a year. Any amount you can contribute is greatly appreciated. Flow Fam we thank you so much!
