DESPERATE NEED OF NEW ROOF

Our roof is rusting terribly on our mobile home. Rust patches litter the roof. On December 29, 2016 during a rain storm, a branch penetrated one of the rusty spots causing a large leak in my daughter's bedroom. With in minutes the roof had collapsed leaving a large hole in the ceiling. The following day my husband went on to the roof to survey the damage and it was worse that anticipated. This photo is one of several holes caused by rusting and the branch that hit our roof. A roofing specialist was called to see if it could be patched affordably. He stated that conceivably there was no way to patch the damage and suggested that we have our home's roof replaced. Though he did not specialize in mobile home roofing he estimated the total cost to be somewhere in the ballpark of $5000 or more to be replaced properly. 

Unfortunately, we at this time do not have the funds or the credit to have our roof replaced. Currently there is a large tarp covering the holes in the roof that is mounted by lawn stakes in the ground but I fear it is only a matter of time, by looking at the other brittle spots in the roof, that we will have the same terrible situation in other rooms. My daughter has been moved into a spare bedroom and thankfully she was unharmed, only frightened when her ceiling collapsed. 

We have tried several strange attempts to patch it as well as we can, even though we were told it was futile. All of them have failed. So now we sit with a tarp over the roof of about a third of our home and are hoping for the best considering there are storms and rain forcasted for the rest of the week.

Any little help would be greatly appreciated, even if it is just a single dollar or a share on social media. My family is in great need and if our roof continues in its present state we will have no where to call home in the event the damage from rain begins to spread through the ceiling and support beams.
