What a year it has been! This past August, we celebrated the first anniversary of Material Gallery—a year filled with creativity, inspiration, and community. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being an essential part of our journey and for your past support, which allowed us to bring you unique art and art experiences. Your contributions have been instrumental in our success, and we are grateful to have you as part of our community.

As the holidays approach, we kindly ask you to consider supporting Material. Your support will help us continue our work highlighting contemporary artists and our communities.

In our first year, we mounted solo exhibitions by ten local, national, and international artists, offered artist talks and workshops, hosted multiple community events and performances, and organized group exhibitions and fundraisers featuring over sixty artists to support our community. We couldn’t have done all of this without you.

But this is just the beginning, and we need your help. As a commercial gallery, we rely not only on art sales but also on the generous support of art lovers like you to continue offering free programs that enrich our community. We understand that not everyone who comes through our doors will buy art, even though they deeply appreciate the arts and the community we are creating. We are committed to continuing to bring exciting art experiences to our community and providing opportunities for everyone, regardless of budget or ability to buy art. Your support is crucial in maintaining this commitment and ensuring our gallery remains a welcoming space for all, further nurturing our community's cultural landscape.

Our Future Plans

Today, we invite you to participate in Material's future by contributing to our fundraising initiative. Your generous contribution will help us:

- Continue our exhibition calendar and receptions for groundbreaking artists.

- Enhance our gallery space to create more engaging experiences for you and the artists we work with.

- Host more free workshops and community events that inspire creativity and connection.

- Launch a community-based collectors' group and events.

Our Goal

We've set a GoFundMe goal of $10,000.00, which will secure our short-term survival. But to be transparent, our dream is to continue to grow and continue providing our community with a much-needed space for contemporary art. There are so many artists we want to support and introduce to you, and we're excited to create new events and experiences for you.
