GCT Research Fund

We are the faces of Granulosa Cell Tumor (GCT).  We are daughters, mothers, sisters wives, aunts, nieces, grandmothers and we need your help.  Granulosa Cell Tumor is a rare type of ovarian cancer that accounts for approximately 2% of all ovarian tumors. This rare type of cancer is difficult to treat due to very little research.

Without research we have difficulties with insurance approving therapies/medications. Having research will help doctors find therapies that will target this cancer and help eliminate therapies that are toxic and do not work with Granulosa Cell Tumor. 

Unfortunately we are treated with other cancer therapies or we ourselves must be test subjects... even with all that we still do not have definitive therapies... 

HOWEVER we have been offered a $120,000 GCT-specific research operating grant in 2019 in collaboration with the Cancer Research Society.
If we raise $60,000, CRS will match that amount allowing us to solicit research proposals we otherwise could not afford to fund.

100% of your donation goes to researchers due to the fact that we are a totally volunteer organization and utilize a private grant to cover operating expenses. We pay no salaries and no director's fees. When you donate your hard-earned money you deserve to know that it is going to the purposes for which you donated!
