CAPITA (City At Peace In The Arts) Productions is non-profit and 100 % of your donation now will be tax deductible for 2019. All donations to our GoFundMe campaign go to support the production of "We Are the Drum 2020". We do not charge fees for the students to be instructed in the production of theatre arts and in performing in a live performance. Most students have had no experience prior to their participation. CAPITA Productions kicks off our 30th year with a challenge: To meet our goal to mentor 100+ students during the 2019 - 2020 school year, we need to raise $50,000. We are on our way, but we still have a long way to go.
We will have after school workshops and rehearsals.
$100 provides a week of healthy snacks for 10 students.
Students come from schools throughout the Milwaukee area.
A $500 donation supports safe student transportation to and from sites.
As a part of the community, businesses and organizations have an important role to play. Can you match the $5,000 pledged for 2019 - 2020 by a small business owner from Central Wisconsin?
Any size donation will be appreciated. Every donation helps us provide theatrical instruction, homework help & mentoring to families throughout the Milwaukee metropolitan area. Through community theater, CAPITA teaches literacy, teamwork, confidence and personal responsibility.
