I have dedicated my life to helping others, especially in the health-related career I have chose to follow. I have tried to bring comfort and hope to each person that I have cared for in the hospital -- but in a twinkle of an eye my family’s life has changed and now we need to reach out to you, our friends and family for comfort, hope and support.
Our family just received the most heartbreaking news that our precious Liam (my nephew/oldest grandchild) who is only 3 years old, has malignant glioma diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (a brain tumour), and his diagnosis is not good. We are shattered.
My sister Cari and Mike need to leave to Children’s Hospital in Vancouver for six weeks to be with Liam. Cari will also need to care for baby Brody who is only 5 months old. We need your help.
