<div>Suicide prevention isn't an abstract cause for Chloe Sloan Foundation. <strong>It's something we encounter in our work.</strong>

<div>We hear from people when life has become so heavy they don't want to wake up. When they're exhausted from fighting. When the thoughts are there, the urges are real, and they can't see a way out.

<div>A crisis moment can pass.<strong> An action taken in that moment can be permanent.</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>What someone needs in those moments looks different for everyone. Sometimes they need to be heard or connected with the right crisis or behavioral health support. Other times, the weight comes from housing, abuse, financial hardship, incarceration, family struggles, or simply hitting one closed door after another.

<div><strong>We try to breathe hope back into moments that feel hopeless.</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>Not false hope. Not "everything will be okay." Real hope. The kind that helps someone see one more option, take one more step, or focus on getting through right now.

<div>Sometimes a person who has been surviving for a very long time simply becomes exhausted from surviving. <strong>That's why advocacy is part of our suicide prevention work.</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>We're a growing nonprofit with a small team. We provide community advocacy, resource navigation, practical support when we're able, and connections to appropriate services. We aren't a crisis hotline or mental health treatment provider, and we don't always have the funding or capacity to meet every need in front of us.
</div>

<div><strong>This September, we're raising $10,000 to help us do more.</strong>
