More information about Out Island Ministries Inc (Macedonian Ministries): Macedonian Macedonian/Out Island Ministries exists to assist national pastors and church leaders to minister to the spiritual needs of their people. The key to any improvement in a society, whether economic or general well being is through education and leadership based on biblical principles. We believe that empowering the nationals through biblical education and leadership is much more efficient and productive than us going there to live because they know the culture, language and can live there much less expensively than we can. They so often have desire but no possibility for education or training. We help to meet this need through pastoral and leadership training by hosting conferences, doing church oversight and many times with one on one training. We also believe that the future rests with the next generation so we are involved with Bible and character based teacher training. Also by working with church youth groups, college groups and schools that train pastors, missionaries and evangelists. Where the Lord provides, we also strive to meet different financial needs. Our theme verse is from Acts 16:9 where Paul had a vision and saw a man from Macedonia saying "Come over and help us". Our mission statement is "Anywhere, Anytime, For Anyone with Jesus." We will go according to God's leading and the peoples desire for help. Presently we work in Haiti, Argentina, the Bahamas, Indonesia, the Philippines, Uganda, Sierra Leone and India. We are funded totally from the gifts of individuals, churches and businesses. We are staffed by volunteers and give 100% of each donation to the person or project that is designated. We don't take out any administrative fee and totally depend on the Lord to provide our administrative costs.
