Hello! We are trying to raise funds for our student short film called “Money Back Guarantee”, a light-hearted, comedy project about two ragtag brothers trying to hit the jackpot in the underground marble betting scene.

We strive to challenge ourselves as creatives and make a project that’s well-made and full of personal style. Unfortunately, film-making is a costly endeavor and we would greatly appreciate any support in funding this project.

The funds will go towards our wardrobe and production design, location hire, and paying our actors for the work they put in, as well as other essentials like feeding our crew on set.

Writer’s Statement

Hello! My name is Reuben Wallace and I am the Writer/DOP of Money Back Guarantee. Illustration and filmmaking have been a lifelong passion of mine, drawing sick looking characters and radical little freaks is my forte and for the longest time I’ve wanted to capture the energy and aesthetic of my art style and paste it onto the medium of film.

However, as much as I’d love to magically rip my characters from the page and bring them to life, the technology isn’t quite there yet… So I figure that we can use your money to deck out some actors in gnarly looking outfits to try and get as close as possible. I look forward to seeing how my vision for this script adapts to the final film, any and all support will be greatly appreciated!
