Medical Mission to India

Once again, I have the opportunity to return to Manipur India. I have gained a deep love for the people of Manipur and the mission of the group I travel with. Every time I go, a part of my heart stays there with the wonderful people that we serve. This will be my 4^th trip and it is very exciting because I will be able to help with education classes, health camps (clinics), and surgeries. I am truly starting to feel at home there. J We will be leaving October 15^th and returning October 28^th, 2012. During this trip the medical team will be involved with village health camps, surgeries and training of local medical professionals. I believe there is no better way to demonstrate Christ's compassion then to help those who are in need:and I feel so blessed to be able to participate in this group's mission~

Last Year's Medical Teams:

"¢     Saw almost 1,500 clinic patients and performed 52 surgeries (with and without power)!

"¢     Held four eyeglass clinics and gave away many reading glasses.

"¢     Held education classes to teach nursing students, nurses, and village healthcare workers.

"¢     Provided thousands of prescription medications and vitamins, Advil, and Tylenol allowing for control of chronic conditions, pain relief and supplemental nutrition for many people.
