I know we all have our journeys of struggles and hardships....mine has been particularly rough bringing me through the darkest days imaginable.    I was once a vibrant woman full of life, happiness and love.  The past number of years I have been on a journey of self doubt and hatred, fear, and distrust.  If it weren’t for family and friends who patiently loved, supported and believed in me....I don’t know where I’d be today.  I’ve always dreamed of a medical mission trip.   A chance to see what real suffering looks like.   This trip would be two fold.   An opportunity to bring comfort and joy to those suffering and in dire need of medical attention as well as a way to say “thank you” to those who never stopped believing in me.   I have my life back.  It’s time to pay it forward and serve those who need help and give them a glimmer of happiness that WE ALL deserve.
