<div>We're working to create a retreat centre space for the Cloud Water Zen Centre, which we can share with anyone else who can benefit from what it has to offer. You can help us turn the project from a dream into a reality!

<div><strong>What are we doing?</strong>
</div>
<div>Our plan is to run the West Highland Way (100miles/160km) as a non-stop 24 hour relay race to fundraise for the retreat centre. We’ve been fundraising for the past 2 years or so and we’re getting close now to being able to look for a space. Your support makes a real difference and is a big help, especially when the legs are starting to burn!

<div><strong>Why a retreat centre? </strong>
</div>
<div>Zen Buddhism is about providing an opportunity to step back from the busyness of daily life and get a fresh perspective on our lives. This can help us respond more skillfully and effectively to the challenges we all face. A country facility like this can be a wonderful place to offer this. Our aim is to establish a space where people come for meditation retreats, periods of residential living and a whole range of different courses and events
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Who is the retreat centre for? </strong>
</div>
<div>While we intend to use the space to offer a wide range of Buddhist retreats and courses, we also want to make it available to the wider public. Our aim is to establish a not-for-profit space, which can be used by a wide range of like-minded groups offering activities like yoga, Tai Chi, mindfulness and so on. These types of courses are often expensive, so we're hoping to offer a space where interested people can try out these activities in a much more affordable way
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We're convinced that the retreat centre has much to offer and can make a real difference in terms of helping all who come along to live more skillfully and respond more effectively to the challenges we all face. All donations - large and small - are gratefully received.
