<div><strong>What are we doing?</strong>

<div>Our plan is to run the West Highland Way (100miles/160km) as a non-stop 24 hour relay race to fundraise for the retreat centre. We’ve been fundraising for the past 2 years or so and we’re getting close now to being able to look for a space. Your support makes a real difference and is a big help, especially when the legs are starting to burn!

<div><strong>Why a retreat centre? </strong>

<div>Zen Buddhism is about providing an opportunity to step back from the busyness of daily life and get a fresh perspective on our lives. This can help us respond more skillfully and effectively to the challenges we all face. A country facility like this can be a wonderful place to offer this. Our aim is to establish a space where people come for meditation retreats, periods of residential living and a whole range of different courses and events

<div><strong>Who is the retreat centre for? </strong>
</div>
<div>While we intend to use the space to offer a wide range of Buddhist retreats and courses, we also want to make it available to the wider public. Our aim is to establish a not-for-profit space, which can be used by a wide range of like-minded groups offering activities like yoga, Tai Chi, mindfulness and so on. These types of courses are often expensive, so we're hoping to offer a space where interested people can try out these activities in a much more affordable way
