Wazhma's Colon Cancer Fund

Wazhma Sultan continues to inspire us all. After an amazing education and career as a lawyer with the UN in Afghanistan she hung up her gavel and brought three wonderful boys into the world with husband Tom Gregg. While vacationing with her family in California last Christmas, Wazhma felt ill and visited her family doctor. To her shock and horror, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Stage IV colon cancer that had spread to other organs.

Since January this year, Wazhma has been channeling the universe to overcome this disease. After 8 months of a chemotherapy routine that saw her tumors reduce in size, this month she learnt that new tumors have appeared and chemo is no longer an option.

Her medical team is now urgently recommending she begin some ground-breaking medical treatment out of the Moore’s Cancer Centre at the University of California, San Diego. Unfortunately, these innovative trials are not yet covered by insurance.

Wazhma needs our support to fund this next stage of her battle.
