Wayne Shult Medical Recovery Fund

In late August our (and your!) very long time friend and associate Wayne Shult (AAPL-RPL) suffered a major medical incident, blacking out at home on an otherwise peaceful Sunday evening. Wayne was life-flighted to San Antonio, where he remains hospitalized. The diagnosis relates to a brain aneurism; I cannot get more technical than that. In any case he has had surgery and procedures to relieve the blood and pressure on his brain, and remains in critical care. Wayne faces long term recovery and rehabilitation, and uncertain outcome. Wayne’s wife, Glenda, stays constantly by his side, in this very difficult and fearful time. The family faces vast medical bills and loss of the income stream from his field work. I am asking all of you that can to make a contribution toward Wayne’s recovery.  We would like to collect as much funding as possible before the end of the month, and present Glenda with this as a fait-accompli.  We will recognize each contributor in follow-up posting in AAPL Land News in October (just name, not amount).
