Wayne Scott’s Memorial Bench

Wayne Scott, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on May 15, 2021. 
 
He was well known in the Langley community for his endless acts of kindness, selflessness and thoughtfulness. Wayne took care of people. Everyday he’d walk the Houston trail, offering a smile and a good morning to each person he passed. It seemed less about the scenery for him and more about the opportunity to talk and to laugh with as many different people as possible. If you regularly walked your dog on the trail, it’s likely that he not only remembered your name, but the name of your dog as well. Strangers, family and friends all benefited from Wayne's generous heart and willingness to listen without judgement. 
 
We have created this Go Fund Me page to dedicate a bench to Wayne's favourite place on Earth, the Houston trail which he walked daily and so loved. Please consider donating to help keep Wayne’s memory alive within the community that he gave so much to and that he loved with such an open heart.
