Hi, my name is Malika Booker and I am organising this fundraiser on behalf of my cousin Wayne Mcleod. We are reaching out to our community, friends and family to aid us in his fight against Diabetes by enabling him to afford urgent medical tests. Four months ago Wayne was diagnosed with diabetes - a life - changing moment that bought both fear and strength into his life. Since then his journey has been filled with doctor visits, medication, lifestyle changes, and an overwhelming list of medical tests.

Right now, his doctors have ordered:

Kidney function tests

MRI scans

8 different blood tests

And other critical diagnostic procedures

These tests are vital to help Wayne's doctors to understand how far the condition has progressed and if any damage has already occurred–especially to his kidneys. Without these tests, they risk missing something serious, and my cousin simply cannot afford to delay them any longer.

Unfortunately, the costs are piling up, and Wayne and the family are unable to cover everything including transportation, medication, and day -to-day expenses. It has been really difficult financially which is why we are organising this fundraiser.
