we are raising funds for our dear friend and co-worker, Wayne Herkel who passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 15, 2020 after dealing with a long illness.
Beloved husband of Susan, brother of Bonnie and Cheryl, son in law of Marie, brother in law of Tina and Frank, Fond uncle of Frank, John and Dominique.
Wayne was an amazing friend and colleague to many. A retired Ramper from United Airlines, and then a Customer Assistance Rep at American Airlines at O'Hare. He had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh and was always a pleasure to work with. He loved to share his stories and knowledge of aircraft . He had a personality and a way about him that always put people at ease. No matter what he was going through with his health, he always had a smile. Wayne will be missed by all.
While we cannot take away his family's sorrow, we can help ease the burden by supporting Susan through this difficult time. Donations will go directly to Susan to help with medical expenses, end of life costs and future expenses. We know with the pandemic times are difficult , so every little bit helps.
Please keep Susan and the family in your thoughts and prayers.
