Waves of Education: Build the Future

Waves of Education was born out of a Waves of Health Medical Mission to Uganda in January 2018. It started as a powerful connection between pharmacist volunteer, Alex Cruz, and a helpless but incredibly sweet six year old girl, Ndagire Kevin. Ndagire only needed a chance and Alex was introduced to her at just the right time to give it to her.

Today, with her sister, Kristina, and the generosity of their family and friends, 16 children in Uganda have been given the opportunity to go to school. Desiring to expand access to education to more children in Uganda, we have launched Waves of Education.

Our mission is to build a primary school in Central Uganda that provides quality education to underprivileged children in order to empower them to improve their community, health, and well-being.

Help us build a primary school and offer an escape out of poverty for the children of Uganda! Here are some examples of what your donation can do:

$25- Provides 3 uniforms for one child

$50- Provides two student desks

$100- Provides lunch for a child for a trimester

$250- Paints a classroom

$500- Provides learning materials for a classroom

$1,000- Sponsors a teacher's salary for a year

$5,000- Builds a school kitchen
