Asha was not just my colleague but a close friend and a dear sister. She was a beautiful soul, inside and out, who cared for people more than herself. She was full of wisdom, knowledge and an inspiration to many. Asha loved life but loved her family and especially her 2 beautiful children more than anything else. Asha was diagnosed with overian cancer 4 years ago. She went through a tough battle but stayed strong throughout her treatment.. Then covid 19 happened, Asha was left untreated for 4 months. By the time lockdown was over, Asha became too weak for treatment, the cancer became aggressive & her health deteriated rapidly. Asha passed away on Friday 6th November 2020.
As a close friend and sister in islam, I am building a water well in Bangladesh as sadakah Jariyah for Asha so that she may continue to earn rewards insha'Allah.
May Allah swt accept this as sadakah from all of us. Ameen
